David Penberg has been involved in international teaching for many, many years. It was during one of his many stops that he and I coincided, and became good friends. Together, he as the Head of School and I as the Technology Director, transformed life at Benjamin Franklin International School in Barcelona a few years ago. Now he is the Head of School of a different kind of school; a charter school in the heart of New York City.
